This is an entry level Building Information Modeling (BIM) project support position. The Associate Project Automation Specialist II role provides project support for Autodesk® Revit®, AutoCAD®, Navisworks®, Construction Cloud® and other project automation technology used on medium to large -scale manufacturing facility design projects. These technical specialists provide basic end user project support, project configuration, or project modifications, with a primary focus on integration of Autodesk® software with other design platforms.
• Collaborate with a more senior Project Automation Specialist (PAS) to analyze and evaluate the Revit®, AutoCAD®, Navisworks®, and Construction Cloud® software support and implementation requirements
• Provide project setup and technical configuration for the above software in conjunction with the office Automation Manager or senior Project Automation Specialist (PAS), including modifications to Revit® macros, AutoCAD® LISP routines, and Microsoft® PowerShell® scripts.
• Work with the BIM Manager and Project Information Manager to analyze and resolve any technical implementation or configuration issues for Revit®, AutoCAD®, and Navisworks® software
• Assist in creating and modifying Revit® families and AutoCAD® blocks used in project templates, including title blocks, key plans, and general symbols (north arrows, graphic scales, etc.) to support drafting (CAD) standards
• Prepare technical documentation describing procedures for setup of automated batch processes, integrations between the above Autodesk® and various other software products, and end user work processes
• Aid in the maintenance of Revit®, AutoCAD®, and Navisworks® templates
• Provide support as necessary to setup and maintain Autodesk Construction Cloud® project sites
• Employ effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
• Provide end user office support, or special project modifications required for the automation technology under the direction of a senior Project Automation Specialist

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering or computer science is preferred or equivalent technical experience
• Two (2) years of experience in project, Information Technology or Automation
• Basic knowledge of Information Technology in:
o Desktop/laptop environment and general office tools
o Infrastructure (Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), telecommunications, etc.)
o Electronic security and governance
o Electronic communications• A minimum of four (4) years of experience using and/or supporting users of Autodesk® Revit®, AutoCAD®, and/or Navisworks® software
• Demonstrated knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
• Familiarity with the Revit® API and practical experience with scripting tools such as Autodesk® Dynamo® and Microsoft® PowerShell®
• Proven ability to write technical step-by-step work instructions documenting standardized processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Assist Information Technology (IT) in evaluating technology impact to Fluor infrastructure and systems
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
