Mortgage Connect is seeking a Enterprise Automation Architect. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, quality assurance, architects, and site reliability engineers to create and maintain a comprehensive automation framework, RPA scripts (Business Process Automation) and integrate with quality-driven development pipeline, and ensure the delivery of high quality products.
- Develop, Maintain Test Automation Frameworks using Python and/or Java
- Develop Maintain Business Process Automation using UIPath
- Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to identify and drive ROI driven automation opportunities
- Closely monitor industry trends and progress in the automation tool space, develop proof of concepts as needed to validate the potential impact on our test delivery process
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
- Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, boundary/negative testing, error or defect retests, usability
- Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts to ensure sufficient test coverage of Mortgage Connect Applications and APIs
- Design test plans to determine product quality or release readiness
- Follow defect tracking processes; including software defect documentation, defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps) utilization, ensuring open defects are monitored and escalated as needed based on aging and priority
- Partner with Software Engineers, System Integrators, Product Owners to deliver high performing quality customer experiences
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
- Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules
- Identify interdependencies, ambiguities or omissions, and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, with focus to mitigate risks
- Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated experience implementing test automation solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Writing, or Equivalent Work Experience
- 7+ years of experience with designing and developing automation frameworks and creating and maintaining automated test suites
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Must Have
- Working experience in Python programming language
- Working experience in any one of the Programming Languages (Java, JavaScript, C#)
- 1+ years of experience in working with UIPath
- Working experience in any one of the Test Automation Tools (Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, etc)
- Understanding of version control, branching schemes, reverts, rebasing, etc. using Git
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, all major web browsers, and iOS and Android mobile devices
- Experience in designing and developing test cases for UI, API, Database
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery methodologies
- Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
- Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
