Account Executive – Business Development (Lead Generation Focus)
Location: Remote  | Salary: $65,000–$75,000 base + commission

EquipNet is hiring a motivated Account Executive to support outbound lead generation and qualification for pre-owned laboratory and life sciences equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and learning new industries. Prior biotech or lab experience is not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new leads through outbound calling, email, and follow-up on inbound inquiries

  • Qualify prospective buyers and sellers and assess equipment needs and timelines

  • Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in CRM

  • Conduct basic market and account research

  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support deal progression

  • Learn laboratory and analytical equipment categories and industry trends

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years in sales, business development, lead generation, or outbound calling

  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and qualifying conversations

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn technical products

  • Experience using CRM tools preferred
