Mühlbauer, Inc seeks to hire an experienced Machine Automation Software Engineer located in the Newport News, VA area. The ideal candidates are goal-oriented and have a practice-oriented approach to be able to look at a problem from the user's perspective and develop solutions.
- Develop real-time machine controls in personalization systems and placement equipment in the semiconductor industry
- Implement software to control the production and further processing of RFID smart labels as well as semiconductor components
- Extend and optimize existing processes
- Adapt and further develop the associated user interface (GUI)
- Check external specifications and create internal requirement specifications
- Generate and execute test scenarios for software and hardware components
A) Excellent in C, C++ programming language.
B) Good communication skills in English (German knowledge is an advantage).
C) Knowledge of stepper motor, servo motors, electronic sensors (temperature sensor, Proximity sensor, Communication protocols)
D) 1-4 years of experience. Fresh engineers with excellent academic backgrounds are also welcome.
E) Candidates who have experience in machines (Point C) are preferred much more than pure IT/Software specialists.
F) UML experience is an added advantage.(like RTist or Rational Rose)
G) Knowledge of Vxworks, Windows CE , FreeBSD will be an added advantage.
H) Candidates with industrial experience will have an added advantage.
