A leading business advisory and brokerage firm specialising in business transactions and transition support for businesses is seekingΒ a motivated remote Business Development Representative to join their team for 10 to 20 hours per week working US hours (late afternoon / evening SA time). This role focuses on initiating contact with potential clients through cold calling, qualifying prospects, and setting up appointments with the advisory team. The ideal candidate will be resilient, professional, and skilled at building rapport with business owners.
The company serves various industries including contracting services, professional services, manufacturing & distribution, healthcare providers, and business & financial services. With comprehensive pre and post-sale support, superior valuation tools, and creative deal structuring, they help business owners optimize, grow, and successfully sell their businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cold calling campaigns to business owners using provided scripts and protocols forΒ 10-20 hours per week (180 β 500 calls)
- Accurately record all call outcomes and conversations in the tracking system
- Schedule and manage appointments between prospects and the advisory team
- Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and follow-up requirements
- Handle initial qualification of business owners using structured questionnaire
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour throughout all interactions
- Meet weekly targets for calls made and appointments set
