Position Summary:
HCRC is seeking a skilled Science Writer to turn complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling content for public and policy audiences. You’ll help bridge the gap between technical research and accessible communication, ensuring science is understandable, accurate, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop written content that explains scientific research and findings for diverse audiences.

• Translate technical material into clear, accessible language for non-experts, including policymakers and the general public.

• Collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and credibility.

• Synthesize complex information into concise, compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience writing about scientific or technical topics for diverse audiences.

• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to translate complex scientific information into engaging, understandable content.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy while simplifying concepts.
