Job Description

This vacancy is open to employees of Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust only.

Band 8a: £55,690 - £62,682 

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Permanent contract

Location: across Across site working (IOW and PHU) may be required

As Automation Manager, you’ll lead the strategic design, development, and deployment of innovative robotic process automation (RPA), and machine learning technologies that transform healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.

You’ll manage a skilled team, influence multimillion-pound digital programmes, and collaborate with clinical and IT leaders to drive a bold automation roadmap aligned with Trust-wide digital strategies. Qualifications

Essential

• Masters degree level qualification or equivalent in computing or related field.

• Quality Improvement, Service Improvement or Lean Certification 

• ITIL Foundation Certificate

Desirable

• Certification in programming Intelligent Automation or similar.

• MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) Registered Practitioner.

• Professional registration (BCS, IEE, UKCHIP).

• ITIL Expert level qualification
